I made these cupcakes a few years ago for a friend's graduation party and they were instantly a hit. I got the recipe from Hello, Cupcake!
The cupcakes are white (but now that I think about it, chocolate would look better)and they have a mini doughnut and a doughnut hole glued on top of them with icing. This construction is dipped in chocolate icing dyed black. The wings are made of chocolate cookies and the bellies are marshmallows sliced up. The beaks and feet are made of Starbursts and the eyes are mini chocolate chips.
The icebergs have coconut on top with blue rock candy. The cupcakes were also supposed to have little hard candy fish on them, but I couldn't find them anywhere. If someone discovers any, please let me know.
