This is perhaps the first cake I ever made. I got the recipe out of a magazine that has by now been lost to me...It was for an old high school friend's birthday. The cake has pudding in it which makes it extremely moist and tasty. After this, I put pudding in every cake I make. The stripes and thong part of the sandals are made with sour ribbons.
